Welcome to The Noons Nook — a book boutique and author services hub with a cozy, indie heart.
I’m not a big publishing house. I’m just one person who’s learned the ropes of self-publishing the hard way — through research, trial and error, and a lot of persistence. Now, with the help of modern tools (including AI), I make the process simpler and more affordable for other indie authors who want their stories to shine.
At The Noons Nook, I:

Curate and feature clean indie books for readers who want stories they can enjoy without worry.

Offer author services like editing (AI-assisted + human-guided), formatting, typesetting, cover design, and light marketing.

Provide case-by-case support: setting up KDP or ACX accounts, building simple author websites, designing promo material, or just consulting if you’d rather learn how to do it yourself.

Create fun extras like book boxes, bookmarks, newsletters, and free stories — because books should feel fantastical.
The Noons Nook is part bookstore, part workshop, part cozy corner for readers and writers. My mission is simple: to make indie publishing less overwhelming, more approachable, and a lot more fun.

✨ About Me

I’m Britt Nunes (pronounced Noons), one of Jehovah’s Witnesses (baptized in 2011), and storytelling has always been my way of connecting. It’s a joy when young ones tell me they can enjoy my books without worry — that’s exactly why I started The Noons Nook. I wanted to create a safe, welcoming space where the friends could find clean stories and where authors could share their work with confidence. Writing and helping others with their projects is one of my greatest pleasures, and I’m grateful to use my love of words to encourage and uplift.
As for my writing journey, my first YA dystopian novel Etched was published by Martin Sisters Publishing, and my YA sci-fi novel The Air Formulas was recognized as a finalist in the 19th Annual National Indie Excellence Awards. I also hold an associate degree in English from San Joaquin Delta College.
